“A Mark of Contribution: College of Medicine Adorns Voluntary Work with a Visit to the Elderly Care Home”<\/p>\n

The Committee for Supporting Voluntary Work, the Human Rights Unit, and the Women\u2019s Affairs Committee at the College of Medicine \/ University of Mosul organized a voluntary field visit to the Elderly Care Home and the Al-Baraem Home, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit, under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Humam Ghanim Ibraahim.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

On Thursday, January 8, 2026, the visit included delivering awareness and health lectures, and providing various food items, in a humane atmosphere filled with love and respect.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

This initiative aims to enhance social solidarity, instill values of compassion and giving, and achieve the Sustainable Development Goals:<\/p>\n

– Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being<\/p>\n

– Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities<\/p>\n

– Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities<\/p>\n

– Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals<\/p>\n

This visit reflects the College of Medicine\u2019s commitment to promoting voluntary work and social responsibility, and highlighting the importance of unity and cooperation in serving vulnerable groups.<\/p>\n
