The Nineveh Health Department held its scientific symposium entitled “What’s New in the Treatment of Asthma” on Thursday, 4th November 2021. The symposium witnessed an active participation of a group of academic staff from the Department of Medicine, College of Medicine. The scientific session was chaired by the Lecturer Dr Muhammad Kh. Al-Hajj Hammo (currently retired).The session consisted of two lectures: the first one for the Assistant Prof Dr Rami M. Al-Hayali and his lecture entitled “Updates in Asthma Management” The second lecture was for the Lecturer Dr Wael Th. Younis entitled “Asthma Disease and Management.”<\/p>\n

The symposium was attended by the Official of Arab Council for Health Specializations, Dr Rafea H. Al-Qazzaz, some of the college’s academic staff, and many specialist doctors from the Department of Health.
