On the morning of Sunday, 10th April 2022, a discussion was held for the student of the Iraqi Board of Pathology Banan B. Muhammad Al-Abadi entitled “Immunohistochemical Expression of Galectin-3 in Thyroid Neoplasms and its correlation with CD56″The discussion committee consisted of:Assistant Prof Dr Ikhlas A. Ali (Chairman)Assistant Prof Dr Nadwa S. El Ezzo (Member)Consultant Dr Hatem A. Al Nuaimi (Member)Prof Dr Wahda M.Tayeb Al-Nuaimi (Member and supervisor)The study concluded with several results, the most important of which are:1) The study showed a significant relationship of Galectin-3 with types of thyroid glands.2) Significant correlation between Galectin-3 and CD563) Galectin-3 can be used in the diagnosis of thyroid cancer especially papillary thyroid cancer.Finally, the student’s research was accepted at the end of the discussion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
