The Department of Chemistry in the College of Sciences held its scientific symposium entitled “Toxic effects of Heavy Metals on the Environment and Human Health” on Thursday, 10th October 2019. Many deans had attended the symposium including the dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil M. Natheer, a number of academic staff, and other speciality physicians from Nineveh Health Department. The Symposium included four lectures and ended with some recommendations.
