Mosul Studies Center Completes Workshop on Healthy Nutrition and its Programs

\nThe Mosul Studies Center, under the supervision of the Center Director, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Nizar Al-Dabbagh, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning\/Presidency of the University of Mosul, held the Mosul Scientific Workshop (Healthy Nutrition and its Programs) as part of a series of scientific workshops related to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Mahdi Saleh Saeed\/Mosul Studies Center and moderated by Assistant Professor Dr. Hanaa Jassim Muhammad. The workshop was held on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at the Mosul Studies Center\/University of Mosul, in the presence of the Center’s professors and in the presence of Professor Dr. Harith Hazem Ayoub from the College of Arts\/Department of Sociology. The workshop aimed to discuss, clarify, and achieve the third goal of the Sustainable Development Goals related to good health and well-being. The workshop covered several topics, including:
\n– The concept of healthy nutrition
\n– The impact of healthy nutrition on humans
\n– Types of healthy food
\n– The researcher’s experience with healthy food, with a focus on plant-based foods
\n– The effect of healthy nutrition in reducing high levels of fat and cholesterol in the human body
\n– The contribution of walking to achieving good health.<\/p>\n
