\nUnder the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, the University of Mosul Presidency\/Department of University Psychological Counseling, in cooperation with the Department of Media and Government Communication, held a scientific conference entitled: “Educational Institutions and Their Preventive Role in Combating Drug Abuse.” The conference took place on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, in the Scientific and Literary Forum Hall. In accordance with the directives of the University of Mosul Presidency, and under the supervision of the Director of the Mosul Studies Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning \u2013 Sustainable Development Unit\/University of Mosul Presidency, Professor Kamal Ashour Khader attended on behalf of the Director of the Center, accompanied by Ms. Basma Mohammed Amin, Ms. Ahlam Aref, and Ms. Ashwaq Abdul Ghafour Jadou, to participate in the conference proceedings as part of the Iraqi Anti-Drug Week.<\/p>\n
