Mosul Studies Center Holds a Course on the Art of Leadership and Body Language and Their Impact on University Performance<\/p>\n

\nUnder the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center, the Center, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit\/University of Mosul, held a continuing education course entitled: The Art of Leadership and Body Language.<\/p>\n

The course was presented by: Dr. Kamal Ashour Khader and Mr. Mahdi Saleh Saeed\/Mosul Studies Center.<\/p>\n

The course was managed by Assistant Professor Dr. Hanaa Jassim Mohammed\/Head of the Sustainable Development Committee\/Mosul Studies Center.<\/p>\n

Knowledge of body language, in terms of understanding others, using it personally, and skillfully employing it at the right time and place, is considered an essential component of the personality of a successful academic and academic leader. Knowledge of body language has become an essential component of an educated personality. Mastery of this language is no longer limited to investigators, intelligence officers, or psychology specialists; it has become accessible to the general public thanks to published research and studies, and the media’s focus on this hidden aspect of the lives of leaders and celebrities. Based on the foregoing, the course aimed to enhance leadership concepts and the qualities of a leader in society and academic life. It linked academic leadership to the necessity of understanding and applying body language in daily academic life to achieve educational and administrative goals with minimal effort and to establish effective communication with the academic community.<\/p>\n

The course was divided into two main themes. The first focused on leadership and academic leadership for university professors and administrators. The second theme addressed body language and its impact on an academic’s personality, its applicability in daily work, and how to utilize this knowledge to understand their surroundings more easily and concisely, thus contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 4, 5, and 8.<\/p>\n
