Mosul Studies Center Implements Tree Planting Campaign at Mosul University<\/p>\n

Under the patronage of the President of Mosul University, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and the supervision of the Director of the Mosul Studies Center, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, a group of center staff, including Dr. Ali Ahmed Al-Obaidi, Head of the Department of Literary Studies and Documentation, Dr. Suhaib Hazem Al-Ghadhanfari, Head of the Department of Historical and Social Studies, and Dr. Hanaa Jassim Mohammed, Head of the Sustainable Development Committee at the center, carried out a tree planting campaign on April 6, 2026. This was done in cooperation with the Studies and Planning Department \u2013 \u200b\u200bSustainable Development Unit at Mosul University, and the Agricultural Division of the University’s Administrative Affairs Office. The center’s staff planted 35 Chinese carnation seedlings near the student center’s gardens. This campaign is part of the Sustainable Development Committee’s activities and the directives of Mosul University’s administration to improve the university environment and enhance the aesthetics of the campus, thus contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 6, 11, 13, and 15.<\/p>\n
