Distinguished Presence of the Mosul Studies Center on the Second Day of Sustainable Development Week and the 59th University of Mosul Day Celebrations<\/p>\n

To promote awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals and highlight the role of scientific research in supporting development paths within and beyond the university community, the Mosul Studies Center, under the supervision of its Director, Dr. Muhammad Nizar Al-Dabbagh, and accompanied by Dr. Ali Ahmed Al-Ubaidi (Head of the Department of Literary Studies and Documentation), participated on Wednesday evening, April 29, 2026, in the Sustainable Development Week activities and the 59th University Day celebrations. This participation included an exhibition of publications from the Mosul Studies Center, in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit and the Student Activities Department\/University of Mosul. The exhibition showcased the Center’s scientific activities, including seminars and joint publications related to the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as the Center’s publications such as books, periodicals, journals, bulletins, seminar research summaries, booklets, and brochures. This follows the distinguished presence of the Mosul Studies Center on the first day of Sustainable Development Week and the 59th University of Mosul Day celebrations.<\/p>\n

\nTo promote To raise awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals and highlight the role of scientific research in supporting development paths within and outside the university community, the Mosul Studies Center, under the supervision of the Center’s Director, Dr. Muhammad Nizar Al-Dabbagh, along with members of the Sustainable Development Committee, namely Dr. Hanaa Jassim Muhammad, Dr. Maha Saeed Hamid, and Dr. Ali Ahmed Al-Obaidi (Head of the Department of Literary Studies and Documentation), participated on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, in the Sustainable Development Week activities and University Day celebrations. This participation was through a distinguished pavilion that included an exhibition of the Center’s professors’ outputs in the field of sustainable development research, as well as the Center’s scientific activities, including seminars and joint publications related to the Sustainable Development Goals. A large collection of books specializing in sustainable development and the personal works of the Center’s professors were also displayed, in addition to Mosul University guides, especially the University’s founding guides, in celebration of the University’s glorious day. This participation reflects the Center’s contribution and interest in achieving all the Sustainable Development Goals. The pavilion also witnessed extensive interaction from students, researchers, and visitors through scientific and cultural discussions and dialogues that highlighted the role of the Mosul Studies Center in showcasing studies and publications that focus on Mosul’s heritage, folklore, architecture, and art. This underscores the center’s commitment to supporting sustainable development and promoting integration between scientific research and community service, contributing to building a more sustainable and inclusive future for our esteemed University of Mosul and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 4, 11, and 17.<\/p>\n
