Mosul Studies Center Attends Scientific Symposium<\/p>\n

Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit\/University of Mosul, and as part of the Center’s efforts to attend and follow up on scientific activities related to research centers, Professor Dr. Maha Saeed Hameed, Head of the Quality Assurance Committee, and Assistant Professor Dr. Hanaa Jassim Mohammed, Head of the Sustainable Development Committee, along with two faculty members from the Department of Historical and Social Studies at the Mosul Studies Center, representing the Center’s Director, attended the scientific symposium held by the Environmental Research Center. The symposium, titled “A Study of the Water Quality of the Khosr River: Pollutants and Treatment Methods,” was held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in the Afkar Hall at the Dryland and Conservation Agriculture Research Center at the University of Mosul, and aimed to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 6 and 14.<\/p>\n
