Mosul Studies Center Attends Specialized Dialogue Workshop at the Center for Peacebuilding and Peaceful Coexistence<\/p>\n

\u2026 Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, and the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning \u2013 Sustainable Development Unit\/University of Mosul, and as part of the Center’s efforts to participate in and establish communication with humanities research centers at the University of Mosul, particularly regarding administrative work, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Nizar Al-Dabbagh, Director of the Mosul Studies Center, and Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Hazem Al-Ghadhanfari, Head of the Department of Historical and Social Studies at the Center, attended the specialized dialogue workshop organized by the Center for Peacebuilding and Peaceful Coexistence, entitled “Administrative Discrimination: Between Reality and Solutions.” The workshop was presented by Dr. Laila Younis Saleh Al-Mawla, a lecturer and researcher at the Center for Peacebuilding, and was attended by a diverse group of faculty and staff from various departments within the University of Mosul, in addition to the Center’s staff.<\/p>\n

\u2026 The workshop addressed in depth the problem of administrative discrimination within various work environments, identifying the factors contributing to the emergence of this phenomenon. It also reviewed effective strategies for confronting it and mitigating its negative effects, based on fundamental human rights principles and national legislation, and in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goals 10 and 16.<\/p>\n
