\nOn Monday, September 7, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Ahmed Al-Obeidi\u2014Head of the Department of Literary Studies and Documentation at the Mosul Studies Center, in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Planning (Sustainable Development Unit) at the University of Mosul\u2014served as a member of the examination committee for the Master\u2019s thesis of student Walid Khalid Rifai Abd. The thesis, titled “The Journey in the Novel *Hani Baal the Canaanite* by Subhi Al-Fahmawi,” was defended at the College of Basic Education, University of Mosul.
\nThe examination committee consisted of the following members:
\n\u2013 Professor Ishtar Dawood Mohammed (College of Education for Women, University of Mosul) \u2013 Chair.
\n\u2013 Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Ahmed Mohammed (Mosul Studies Center, University of Mosul) \u2013 Member.
\n\u2013 Assistant Professor Dr. Qutaiba Mohsen Ali (College of Education for Humanities, University of Mosul) \u2013 Member.
\n\u2013 Professor Nabhan Hassoun Abdullah (College of Basic Education, University of Mosul) \u2013 Member and Supervisor.
\nThe committee approved the thesis and awarded the student a Master\u2019s degree in Modern Arabic Literature with a grade of “Satisfactory.”
\nCongratulations to the student and his supervisor on this distinguished academic achievement.
