\nOn Monday, September 7, 2026, Assistant Professor Dr. Orouba Jameel Mahmoud\u2014a faculty member in the Department of Historical and Social Studies at the Mosul Studies Center, in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Planning (Sustainable Development Unit) at the University of Mosul\u2014served as a member of the examination committee for a Master\u2019s thesis.
\nThe thesis, titled “Prominent Figures of the Jalili Family in Mosul: A Study of Their Political and Administrative Activities During the Royal Era (1921\u20131958),” was authored by student Zeina Diaa Mohammed and defended in the Al-Salam Hall at the College of Arts, University of Mosul.
\nThe examination committee consisted of:
\nProfessor Dr. Mahmoud Saleh (College of Arts, University of Mosul) \u2013 Chair
\nAssistant Professor Dr. Orouba Jameel Mahmoud (Mosul Studies Center, University of Mosul) \u2013 Member
