A Pioneering Initiative to Activate Public Transport Systems<\/p>\n

Part of University of Mosul\u2019s College of Pharmacy Initiatives Towards a More Sustainable Campus
\nIn its pursuit of reducing private vehicle traffic within the campus, the College of Pharmacy at the University of Mosul has launched a pioneering initiative to activate a collective transport system. The program provides free shuttle buses, alongside bicycles and electric-powered bikes, to facilitate the movement of students and staff between colleges. This move aims to significantly reduce carbon emissions and ease traffic congestion.
\nThe initiative also includes promoting digital learning and supporting a hybrid education model. This approach minimizes unnecessary physical presence on campus while enhancing flexibility within the educational process.
\nThis initiative aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), most notably:
\n* Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being \u2013 By reducing environmental pollution and encouraging physical activity through cycling.
\n* Goal 4: Quality Education \u2013 By supporting digital and hybrid learning and improving access to knowledge.
