It also manages the documentation for current students and graduates who have earned advanced degrees (<b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"299\">Master\u2019s and Doctorate<\/b>). The division is located within the Deanship building and is headed by <b data-path-to-node=\"3\" data-index-in-node=\"394\">Dr. Walid Ghanem<\/b>.<\/p>\n<h3 data-path-to-node=\"4\">Responsibilities of the Division:<\/h3>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"5\">\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,0,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Admissions:<\/b> Completing the admission procedures for new postgraduate students in accordance with the regulations and instructions issued by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Registration and Archiving:<\/b> Registering admitted students and organizing their data into physical and electronic files to ensure the systematic management and protection of their academic records.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,2,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Academic Distribution:<\/b> Assigning new students to specific academic sections and scientific specializations to ensure a smooth educational process within the college.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,3,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Scheduling:<\/b> Developing course schedules for each semester, including mandatory, elective, and specialized subjects, to ensure an integrated scientific curriculum.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,4,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,4,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Administrative Support:<\/b> Issuing letters of support and &#8220;To Whom It May Concern&#8221; certifications for active students to facilitate their requirements with relevant official departments.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,5,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,5,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Academic Monitoring:<\/b> Regularly tracking all updates, changes, and developments regarding the academic progress of postgraduate students.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,6,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,6,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Certificates and Wall Diplomas:<\/b> Issuing official graduation certificates and wall diplomas, and auditing academic data before granting accredited higher degrees.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,7,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,7,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Meeting Documentation:<\/b> Recording instructions and minutes in the Postgraduate Studies meeting logs in preparation for approval by the division and subsequently the College Council.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,8,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,8,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Official Correspondence:<\/b> Responding to correspondence from the University Presidency and government departments, and conducting verification (Validity of Issuance) for documents and certifications.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,9,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,9,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Competency Verification:<\/b> Coordinating with specialized centers to verify the validity of computer, Arabic, and English language proficiency certificates required for student files.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,10,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,10,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Research Skills Development:<\/b> Nominating Professors and Assistant Professors to conduct specialized workshops within the program designed to develop students&#8217; scientific research skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"5,11,0\"><b data-path-to-node=\"5,11,0\" data-index-in-node=\"0\">Thesis and Dissertation Management:<\/b> Arranging and organizing dates for Master\u2019s thesis and Doctoral dissertation defenses, and preparing all associated technical evaluation forms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Postgraduate Studies Division at the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences is directly responsible for all matters concerning postgraduate students, faculty members, and lectures.
