Professor Dr. Nibras Younis Mohammed Al-Murad, Dean of the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, received a delegation from the Iraqi Olympic Committee and the Duhok Football Association, headed by Professor Dr. Ahmed Qasim, as part of strengthening cooperation between sports and academic institutions.
\nThe visit aimed to coordinate scientific and administrative aspects between the Olympic Committee and the Duhok Football Association, on the one hand, and the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences, on the other. This would contribute to the development of training and research programs and the exchange of expertise in the field of preparing qualified sports cadres.
\nDuring the meeting, an appreciation shield was presented to the Dean of the College, in recognition of the College’s pioneering role in supporting the sports movement and hosting local and international training events and tournaments.
\nThis initiative is part of the efforts of both parties to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4: Quality Education and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
