Today, Wednesday, August 20, 2025, the swimming courses organized by the College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences for this year’s summer season concluded amidst an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and positive interaction from the participants.
\nThe closing ceremony saw the distribution of appreciation medals to a group of participants, in the presence of Dr. Nashat Bashir Ibrahim, Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, who commended the efforts of the coaches and participants, emphasizing the importance of these initiatives in promoting a culture of sports and health in society.
\nThis course is part of a series of training programs implemented by the college, which aim to achieve several Sustainable Development Goals, most notably:
\nGoal 3: Good health and well-being \u2013 through promoting physical activity and improving lifestyles
\nGoal 4: Quality education \u2013 through providing training opportunities and learning new skills
\nGoal 11: Sustainable cities and communities \u2013 through supporting community activities that enhance quality of life
