Vision:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The vision of the division stems from its commitment to developing and enhancing students\u2019 skills across various fields\u2014sports, scouting, arts, and culture\u2014in order to empower them to actively engage, work, and contribute effectively in developmental courses, sports competitions, scouting camps, and artistic and cultural festivals.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Mission:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The division\u2019s mission lies in attracting talented students across different disciplines, nurturing their abilities, and guiding them to reach their fullest potential. Additionally, it focuses on preparing and equipping sports fields and halls that meet high standards.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

    Sports Sector:<\/strong>
    \nThe division aims to improve students’ physical fitness and elevate their technical performance across all games and competitions. It also seeks to discover and nurture athletic talents, and to form college representative teams in various disciplines. The division promotes a spirit of cooperation and sportsmanship through instilling the values of university-level competition.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

    Scouting Sector:<\/strong>
    \nThe division focuses on instilling scouting values by participating in scouting camps, forming various scouting teams, and adopting modern methods and programs in line with the academic level of the university.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

    Artistic and Cultural Sector:<\/strong>
    \nThe division works on developing the talents of students in various fine arts, sculpture, ceramics, and domestic crafts.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            2. A field visit for second- and fourth-year students to the Central Library at the University of Mosul to familiarize them with the library\u2019s departments and the book borrowing procedures.<\/li>\n
            3. A field visit for the college\u2019s students, along with several faculty members and staff, to the Mosul Museum.<\/li>\n
            4. A field visit to the Mosul Heritage House with the participation of several female faculty members, staff, and students.<\/li>\n
            5. A group breakfast organized as a voluntary activity for the students of our college.<\/li>\n
            6. A voluntary activity by the college staff and a number of students to plant trees as part of extracurricular activities on the occasion of World Tree Day, March 12, 2024.<\/li>\n
            7. A field visit to the Directorate of Labor and Social Affairs in Nineveh \/ Department of Care for People with Special Needs, supervised by several faculty members with a group of students.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

                  Volunteer Work<\/strong><\/h3>\n

                  The Student Activities Division of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul organized a student workshop on the relationship between politics and sports.<\/p>\n

                  The Student Activities Division of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul held a workshop on the nature of the relationship between politics and sports on Monday, 28 April 2025.<\/p>\n

                  The relationship between politics and sports is an intertwined duality characterized by mutual influence. Politics affects sports through legislation, funding, and official stances, such as boycotts or support for major events. Conversely, sports influence politics by promoting national identity, shaping public opinion, serving as a diplomatic tool between countries, or highlighting a country\u2019s soft power.<\/p>\n

                  The workshop included an explanation of the duties and role of the division, which focuses on supporting sports, artistic, cultural, and scouting talents.<\/p>\n

                  The workshop was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College and consisted of two lectures delivered by Dr. Omar Abdulaziz Al-Zubaidi, Head of the Division, and Assistant Lecturer Omar Othman Ibrahim, Head of the Cultural Unit. The workshop targeted the student body.<\/p>\n
