<\/p>\nAs part of the activities of the College of Political Science, in collaboration with the Educational Guidance Unit and the Continuing Education Unit at the college, and with the participation of the Health and Community Police departments, Dr. Shaimaa Nadhim Hamoudi, the academic responsible for the Guidance Unit and a lecturer in the Public Policy Department, organized a training course for students at the College of Political Science. The course was titled “Drug Abuse: Effects and Consequences” and took place from December 3 to 5, 2023. The course covered several topics, including the health, psychological and social aspects, as well as the legal and political dimensions of drug abuse. Dr. Shaimaa Nadhim delivered the first lecture on “The Social and Psychological Impact of Drug Abuse,” while the second lecture, titled “Drugs and Their Social Consequences,” was presented by Mr. Rami Elias from the Community Police.<\/p>\n
