Under the sponsorship of the Dean of the College of Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Mohammed Tayeb Al-Qassar, the Women Empowerment Committee in the college, in collaboration with the Continuous Education Unit, organized a workshop titled “Programs Targeting Women’s Capabilities: Obstacles and Solutions.”<\/p>\n

The workshop focused on developing the capabilities of the female workforce within the institution and addressing the main obstacles facing working women. The speakers were:<\/p>\n

1. Dr. Afraa Riyad Mohammed: “Obstacles to the Human Development Capacities of Working Women.”
\n2. Ms. Sajida Farhan Hussein: “Societal Perception of Women and Their Role in Assuming Administrative Positions.”
\n3. Ms. Basma Mohammed Nazir: “Strategies for Empowering Female Personnel in Higher Education.”<\/p>\n

The Women Empowerment Committee in our college organizes scientific workshops to enhance the capabilities of female staff members.<\/p>\n
