Assistant Professor Dr. Marwan Salim Ali from the branch of International Relations and Assistant Lecturer Dalia Adel Sheet from the branch of Public Policy participated in the proceedings of the Third Annual International Conference on Social and Political Sciences for Independent Centers: “International Changes and Their Impact on the Arab Region,” which was held online on April 29th and 30th, 2024. The conference was organized by the Arab Alternatives Forum, the Center for Arab Unity Studies in Beirut, the Tunisian Observatory for Democratic Transition in Tunisia, and the Political Issues Journal\/college of Political Science at the University of Al-Nahrain in Baghdad.<\/p>\n

Dr. Marwan Salim Ali presented a paper titled “Foundations of Iranian Strategic Thought and Its Regional Implications,” while Assistant Lecturer Dalia Adel Sheet presented a paper titled “Power Struggles and State Decline: A Case Study of the Military Conflict in Sudan 2023.” These two papers were selected among only ten distinguished papers out of more than 600 submissions from various Arab countries.<\/p>\n
