Represented by the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Dr. Khairallah Sabhan Al-Jubouri, the College of Political Science participated in a discussion session held at the Nineveh Provincial Council regarding the amendment of the Law of Provinces Not Incorporated into a Region.<\/p>\n

The session was chaired by the Deputy Chairman of the Nineveh Provincial Council, Legal Advisor Mohammed Al-Jubouri, and witnessed the attendance of several council members, as well as the participation of the Nineveh Center for Consultancy and Research and the Academic Syndicate\/Nineveh Branch.<\/p>\n

The session focused on the topic \u201cAmending the Law of Provinces Not Incorporated into a Region \u2013 A Step Towards Reform,\u201d in line with the directives of the Prime Minister to study the draft of the new law for provinces not incorporated into a region, prepared by Administrative Order 22448 of 2022.<\/p>\n

This participation underscores the importance of cooperation between the College of Political Science and the Nineveh Provincial Council, reflecting the college’s openness to local government. Such initiatives contribute to enhancing communication and collaboration between academics and policymakers, which in turn supports the development of public policies and the achievement of legal and administrative reforms that promote local governance and sustainable development in the province.<\/p>\n
