On Sunday, 1 September 2024, the College of Law and Political Science at the University of Kirkuk held a Master’s thesis defense for student Yousif Ghazwan Yousif. The defense committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Azhar Abdullah Hassan and included several other faculty members, among them Professor Dr. Hazem Hamad Mousa, the Head of the International Relations Department at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul.<\/h4>\n

The thesis aimed to shed light on the U.S. hedging strategy towards the rise of China and its impact on the international strategic balance. After the discussion, the committee’s decision was read, which included accepting the thesis and granting the student a Master’s degree.<\/h4>\n
