A Master’s thesis at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, addressed the topic of social capital and its impact on shaping public policies in Egypt, Tunisia, and the UAE. The thesis was presented by student Mohammed Fadel Al-Rashdi on Thursday, 10 October 2024.<\/h4>\n

The thesis aimed to clarify the tools that Arab nations should adopt to effectively utilize social capital in influencing public policy-making, given that they are the primary stakeholders.<\/h4>\n

The thesis concluded that there is a direct relationship between the ability of Arab nations to harness social capital and their influence on public policy-making. The more active and aware the people’s role in this regard, the greater their influence on shaping public policies, and vice versa.<\/h4>\n

The examination committee consisted of Assistant Professor Dr. Ziad Samir Zaki (Chairman), Assistant Professor Dr. Moataz Ismail Khalaf (Member), Assistant Professor Mohammed Saleh Shattib (Member), and Assistant Professor Dr. Saadi Ibrahim Hussein (Member and Supervisor).<\/h4>\n

Part of the session was attended by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Tarek Mohammed Tayeb Zahir, along with the scientific and administrative assistants, Dr. Khairallah Subhan Al-Jubouri, and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Yassin, as well as a group of faculty members.<\/h4>\n

After the discussion, the committee’s decision was read, which included accepting the thesis with the necessary amendments and granting the student a Master’s degree.<\/h4>\n
