On Monday, 28 October 2024, the president and members of the Central Committee for Academic Promotions at the University of Mosul held a meeting with the heads of the sub-committees for promotions across the university’s colleges. Representing the College of Political Science, Assistant Lecturer Basma Mohammed Nadhir, Head of the Academic Promotions Unit, attended the meeting alongside Professor Adnan Hamid Khalaf, Chair of the Promotions Committee.<\/h4>\n

The meeting aimed to accelerate and facilitate the processing of academic promotion applications in line with current regulations. It also addressed the mechanisms for promoting these applications and clarified ministry guidelines to ensure compliance with required academic standards.<\/h4>\n
