On Wednesday, 30 October 2024, the Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Mohammed Tayeb Thahir, conducted a site visit to both the library and the computer lab. The visit aimed to allow the dean to closely inspect the final stages of the renovation work, which is scheduled to be completed before mid-November 2024. He instructed that work be accelerated to ensure that both facilities are ready and available for students and faculty members by the planned date.
