Dr. Saadoun Makif Al-Shammari, Head of the Legal Committee of the Nineveh Provincial Council, paid a visit to the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, on Monday, 25 November 2024. He was received by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Tarek Mohammed Tayeb Thahir, along with some members of the council.<\/h4>\n

The meeting discussed Iraq’s current political situation, particularly in Mosul. Both sides reviewed the political challenges facing our country and the region, exploring ways to counteract the regional and international risks being plotted against us. The discussion also touched upon the university in general and the College of Political Science in particular, focusing on the academic role that could be undertaken to harness human resources and scientific expertise to achieve a secure and peaceful society governed by principles of order, justice, and law.<\/h4>\n
