On Thursday, 28 November 2024, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, organized a counseling dialogue seminar on cyber extortion.<\/h4>\n

The seminar, chaired by the head of the unit, Dr. Shaimaa Nadhim Aboudi, consisted of three lectures delivered by Lecturer Sajeda Farhan Hussein, Lecturer Hadeel Nawaf Ahmed, and Assistant Lecturer Sarah Jassem Mohammed.<\/h4>\n

The seminar concluded with a recommendation for the Iraqi legislator to expedite the discussion and enactment of the draft law on cyber extortion. It also emphasized the importance of the teaching staff holding counseling seminars for students to guide and raise awareness on the subject and ways to address it.<\/h4>\n

The seminar was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit, and targeted the student body.<\/h4>\n
