The Department of Public Policy at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, held its scientific workshop titled: \u201cReflections on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights\u201d<\/em> on Thursday, 26 December 2024.<\/h4>\n

The workshop addressed several topics related to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, including building just and sustainable societies, the nature of economic, social, civil, and political rights between theory and practice, its challenges, concept, origins, as well as children\u2019s rights and the protection of the most vulnerable groups.<\/h4>\n

The workshop featured six lectures presented by a distinguished group of faculty members from the department: Assistant Professor Dr. Ziyad Samir Zaki, Assistant Professor Muhammad Saleh Shteib, Lecturer Dr. Muhammad Hazem Hamed, Lecturer Dr. Kawthar Hassan Ghazi, Assistant Lecturer Omar Othman Ibrahim and Assistant Lecturer Ghufran Younis Hussein.<\/h4>\n

The workshop was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College and in collaboration with the Continuing Education Unit.<\/h4>\n
