On Monday, 30 December 2024, the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Nineveh Study Center affiliated with the Open Educational College, held a scientific symposium on the impact of administrative corruption on society and the role of governmental institutions in combating it.<\/h4>\n

The symposium included two lectures. The first was delivered by the Dean of the College of Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Tareq Mohammed Tayeb Thahir, and the second by Dr. Atira Zakaria Mohammed, a liaison officer for the Continuing Education Center and the Quality Management Unit. Following the lectures, the floor was opened for questions, inquiries, and discussions.<\/h4>\n

The lecturers emphasized that combating corruption requires joint efforts involving the government, civil society, and the media, with a focus on enhancing transparency, justice, and accountability in all sectors. They also called for sustainable policies aimed at building a society free of this scourge.<\/h4>\n

The symposium was held under the patronage of the General Director of Nineveh Education and was attended by a wide range of academics and those interested in the field.<\/h4>\n
