The College of Political Science at the University of Mosul hosted an awareness event organized by the Directorate of Combating Intellectual Terrorism in Nineveh, titled: “Intellectual Security,” on Sunday, 29 December 2024.<\/h4>\n

The event began with a welcoming speech by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Mohammed Tayyib Thahir, who commended this commendable initiative by the Directorate in organizing cultural and intellectual programs across the universities of Nineveh Province, including the University of Mosul and the College of Political Science.<\/h4>\n

Following this, the event\u2019s activities commenced, featuring a lecture delivered by Mr. Younis Saadoun Ali.<\/h4>\n

The event aimed to introduce the concept of intellectual security, its importance, and the major influences on thought. Emphasis was placed on the need for individuals to fortify themselves intellectually and culturally to confront ideological currents and the intellectual warfare prevalent in today’s world.<\/h4>\n

The event concluded with an open discussion involving the attendees. The target audience for this event was first-year students.<\/h4>\n
