The journal Awtaad for Humanities (Vol. 4, Issue 3, 2024) has published a joint research paper by two faculty members from the College of Political Science, University of Mosul: Assistant Lecturer Ansam Salim Mahdi and Assistant Lecturer Saad Shehab. The paper is titled: “The Role of Iraqi Tribes in Enhancing Cohesion for Social Integration: Wasit Governorate as a Model After 2005.”<\/h4>\n

The study discusses how tribes contribute to conflict resolution, promote civil peace, and support mechanisms for social integration. It also addresses challenges, particularly in light of political and social transformations, and explores ways to strengthen national identity and local stability.<\/h4>\n
