The President of the University, Professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, conducted a visit to the High Commission for Human Rights on Wednesday, 22 January 2025. Accompanying him were several members of the University Council, including the Dean of the College of Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Mohammed Tayeb Dhahir. They were received by the Director of the Commission, Mr. Yasser Diaa Saeed.<\/h4>\n

During the meeting, a comprehensive explanation of the Commission’s work, responsibilities, and efforts in supporting human rights was presented. In turn, the University praised the ongoing efforts in this field and reaffirmed its support for human rights through its academic and scientific expertise. The University also emphasized its commitment to utilizing all available resources to promote human rights and address the negative impacts of terrorism on Nineveh Governorate and Iraq as a whole.<\/h4>\n
