The Al-Qadisiyah Journal for Law and Political Science has published a research paper by the Scientific Assistant of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, Lecturer Dr. Khairallah Subhan Al-Jubouri, in the second issue of its fifteenth volume for the year 2024.<\/h4>\n

The research, titled “The Social Acceptance of Returning IDPs from Displacement Camps and Its Impact on Iraqi National Identity: A Case Study of Nineveh Governorate,”<\/em> holds great significance. The displacement crisis in Iraq, particularly in Nineveh Governorate, has led to profound and serious consequences at political, economic, social, and even security levels. More than seven years after the liberation of the governorate and the beginning of the return of IDPs from displacement camps to their original areas, important questions remain regarding the social acceptance of returning IDPs and their reintegration into society.<\/h4>\n

This study, therefore, sheds light on the challenges, impacts, and opportunities posed by the process of social acceptance within their communities and the broader effect on shared national identity.<\/h4>\n
