A PhD dissertation by the student Diaa Hussein Ouda, titled “Government Institutions and Foreign Political Decision-Making in the Russian Federation Regarding the War on Ukraine,” was discussed at Al-Ameed Institute for Graduate Studies on Tuesday, 25 March 2025.<\/h4>\n

The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Sarmad Zaki Al-Jader and included several other faculty members, among them Assistant Professor Tareq Mohammed Tayeb Thahir, the Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul.<\/h4>\n

The dissertation analyzed the role of government institutions in foreign political decision-making in the Russian Federation regarding the war on Ukraine, reviewing the institutional, legal, and political factors influencing this process. It also examined the impact of international, economic, and military pressures on decision-making related to the conflict.<\/h4>\n

After the discussion, the committee\u2019s decision was read, stating the acceptance of the dissertation and awarding the student the PhD degree.<\/h4>\n
