Under the patronage and presence of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and with the attendance of some members of the University Council, the UNESCO Chair announced the results of the Peace Narratives Competition during a central ceremony held on Monday, 16 June 2025.<\/h4>\n

Representing the College of Political Science, the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Sohaib Khalid Jasem Al-Taie, attended the event, along with two faculty members from the Department of International Relations: Lecturer Ms. Basma Mohammed Nadhir, who received a certificate of appreciation in recognition of her participation in the competition, and Assistant Professor Dr. Tareq Mohammed Thanoon.<\/h4>\n

The competition focused on the art of short story writing, and the ceremony highlighted its importance and how it can be utilized to promote peace, stability, and peaceful coexistence\u2014contributing to a culture of peace and fostering a cohesive and refined society under the banner of our great Iraq.<\/h4>\n
