The Woman Affairs Committee at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, held a workshop entitled: “UNSCR 1325 and How to Achieve Its Objectives” on Wednesday, 25 June 2025.<\/h4>\n

The workshop aimed to shed light on the aforementioned resolution issued by the UN Security Council concerning women, peace, and security. It highlighted the crucial role of women in peacekeeping operations, conflict prevention, and active participation in negotiation processes and decision-making stages.<\/h4>\n

The workshop was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College (in cooperation with the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit at the University Presidency) and falls within the framework of efforts to implement Iraq\u2019s Third National Action Plan on Women, Peace, and Security \u2013 specifically under the pillar of protection and prevention.<\/h4>\n
