In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 3: Good Health and Well-Being, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, the University\u2019s Psychological Counseling Division at the College of Political Science organized an awareness workshop entitled \u201cThe Phenomenon of Human Trafficking\u201d on 22 October 2025.<\/h4>\n

The workshop addressed two main topics: the trafficking of the human mind and the phenomenon of human trafficking, focusing on their psychological, social, and legal impacts, as well as community-based prevention and protection methods.<\/h4>\n

The workshop aimed to promote mental health among the targeted groups.<\/h4>\n

It consisted of two lectures delivered by Assistant Professor Saadi Ibrahim Hussein, from the Public Policy Department, and Lecturer Dr. Shaimaa Nazem Hammoudi, head of the division.<\/h4>\n

The workshop was held under the supervision of the Dean of the College, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, as part of the division\u2019s activities, and targeted all students.<\/h4>\n
