In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, specifically Goal 4 on quality education and Goal 16 on peace, justice, and strong institutions, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning, the Sustainable Development Unit, the University Psychological Counseling Department at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, and the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Political Science, the University Psychological Counseling Division held its guidance seminar titled \u201cCyber Extortion and Digital Deviation in the Life of the University Student\u201d on Tuesday, 9 December 2025.<\/h4>\n

The seminar was presented by Lecturer Dr. Rasha Suhail Mohammed, Lecturer Shahbaa Hikmat Elias, and Assistant Lecturer Ansam Saleem Mahdi.<\/h4>\n

The seminar discussed issues related to cyber extortion, its psychological repercussions, its social and emotional effects, and methods of addressing it. It also examined the legal responsibility of internet service providers toward students to limit digital deviation.<\/h4>\n

The seminar was held under the supervision of the College Dean\u2019s Office and targeted the student community.<\/h4>\n
