In line with the Sustainable Development Goals\u2014Goal Four: Quality Education, and Goal Sixteen: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions\u2014and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning\/ Sustainable Development Unit (at the Presidency of the University of Mosul), as well as the Units of Continuing Education and Voluntary Work (at the College of Political Science), the College organized a panel discussion entitled \u201cThe Arabic Language: Noble Words, Generous Meanings, and Delicate Connotations.\u201d The event was held on Thursday, 18 December 2025, coinciding with the International Day of the Arabic Language, observed annually on 18 December.<\/h4>\n

The lecture was delivered by a faculty member of the Public Policy Branch, Professor Dr. Salah Al-Din Salim Mohammed, under the chairmanship of Professor Dr. Jamal Kamal Ismail, with Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Hazem Hamed serving as rapporteur.<\/h4>\n

The panel aimed to highlight the status of the Arabic language and its civilizational, cultural, and scientific importance, to emphasize its role in strengthening national identity and consolidating the values of peace, justice, and institutional communication, as well as to raise awareness of the importance of linguistic accuracy in academic, media, and administrative discourse. It also sought to encourage proper and refined use of the Arabic language in education and scientific research, in a manner consistent with the Sustainable Development Goals.<\/h4>\n

The activity was held under the supervision of the College Deanship and falls within the activities of the Committee for Monitoring National and International Days. It was attended by a number of academic and administrative staff members.<\/h4>\n
