In line with the Sustainable Development Goals\u2014Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals\u2014and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning\/ Sustainable Development Unit (Presidency of the University of Mosul). The master\u2019s thesis was discussed at the College of Political Science, entitled: \u201cPublic Economic Policymaking and Its Impact on Achieving Political Stability: Japan as a Model,\u201d submitted by the student Mahmoud Tahseen Ahmed, on Monday, 12 January 2026.<\/h4>\n

The thesis discussed the impact of public economic policymaking on achieving political stability, taking Japan as a model for the study, as political stability is considered a fundamental element for the success of economic policies and the stimulation of economic activity.<\/h4>\n

The study aimed to analyze the relationship between economic policymaking and achieving political stability, focusing on clarifying the role of economic policies in enhancing stability within societies. It also shed light on the Japanese experience as a successful model in this field.<\/h4>\n

The study concluded that political stability is not achieved automatically through economic growth alone; rather, it is the result of an integrated interaction between effective policies, capable institutions, and cultural values. The Japanese model demonstrates the importance of this integration in achieving long-term stable development. Achieving stability requires the adoption of sound policies, flexible crisis management, and a societal environment based on commitment and responsibility.<\/h4>\n

The examination committee consisted of Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Yaseen (Chair), Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Hazem Hamed (Member), Assistant Professor Dr. Afraa Riyadh Mohammed (Member), and Professor Dr. Ziyad Samir Zaki (Member and Supervisor).<\/h4>\n

After the discussion, the committee\u2019s decision was read, which included approving the thesis with the necessary revisions and awarding the student the Master\u2019s degree.<\/h4>\n
