In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals\u2014specifically Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions\u2014a new book authored by Lecturer Saja Fattah Zaidan, a faculty member of the Department of Public Policy at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, was published in January 2026 under the title: \u201cSustainability of Education for Achieving Peaceful Coexistence.\u201d<\/h4>\n

The book offers a comprehensive analysis of the education crisis in Iraq and the repercussions of wars, pandemics, and societal divisions, which have resulted in learning loss, a decline in the principles of citizenship, and diminished opportunities for peaceful coexistence.<\/h4>\n

The author proposes an integrated educational program aimed at compensating for educational disruptions and building school environments capable of withstanding crises, while simultaneously instilling values of dialogue, participation, and social inclusion.<\/h4>\n
