In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals\u2014Goal 4: Quality Education\u2014and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning\/ Sustainable Development Unit (at the Presidency of the University of Mosul), the Council of the College of Political Science concluded its seventh open session for the academic year 2025\u20132026 on Sunday, 18 January 2026.
\nThe attendees discussed the minutes of the Public Policy and International Relations sub-departments. Emphasis was placed on the necessity for research teams to complete their studies in preparation for publication in global databases such as Scopus and Clarivate. In the same context, the council reviewed the directives of the twelfth session of the Council of Opinion for the year 2025, as well as relevant directives issued by the University Presidency.
\nThe meeting was chaired by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jasim Al-Ta\u2019i, and attended by the Scientific and Administrative Assistant Deans, Assistant Professor Dr. Khairallah Subhan Al-Jubouri and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Hussein Yassin. The meeting was also attended by the Heads of the International Relations and Public Policy branches, Professor Dr. Hazem Hamad Mousa and Professor Dr. Walid Salem Mohammed; the representative of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate, Nineveh Branch, Lecturer Dr. Firas Mohammed Elias; in addition to the Council Rapporteur, Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Moayed Al-Dabbagh.<\/h4>\n
