Under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, Dean of the College of Political Science, and in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit, the college held a workshop on the occasion of the International Day for the Prevention of Violent Extremism on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at the College\u2019s Conference and Discussion Hall.<\/h4>\n

The Public Policy Department participated through Lecturer Dr. Kawthar Hassan Ghazi, presenting her paper entitled \u201cViolent Extremism and Its Impact on Political Stability\u201d<\/em>, while the International Relations Department was represented by Lecturer Dr. Rasha Suhail Mohammed, presenting her paper entitled \u201cViolent Actors and Their Impact on Iraqi National Security\u201d<\/em>.<\/h4>\n

The significance of this workshop lies in its alignment with Sustainable Development Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions<\/em>.<\/h4>\n
