On the morning of Monday, March 9, 2026, the Master\u2019s thesis defense of student Ruqayya Raad Abdullah Fathi<\/strong> was held in the Conference and Discussion Hall at our College. Her thesis was entitled \u201cSecuritization of Climate Change and Its Utilization in Global Strategies: Conferences of the Parties as a Model.\u201d<\/h4>\n

The study examined the early stages of forming global awareness regarding climate change and its securitization, as well as the historical trajectory of establishing the initial foundations of the Conferences of the Parties (COP) and the extent of their influence in shaping states\u2019 strategies toward climate change. It also included a strategic assessment of the outcomes of the Conferences of the Parties, identifying the main opportunities and challenges facing the implementation of their outputs.<\/h4>\n
