data-index-in-node=\"39\">Associate Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie<\/b>, Dean of the College of Political Science, the <b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"139\">Human Rights Unit<\/b> at our college\u2014in cooperation with the <b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"196\">Department of Studies and Planning \/ Sustainable Development Unit<\/b>, the <b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"267\">Human Rights Division<\/b> at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, and the <b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"343\">Continuing Education Unit<\/b> at our college\u2014held a training course titled: <b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"415\">&#8220;Enhancing Civic Participation in Decision-Making and Rights Protection.&#8221;<\/b> The course spanned three days, running from May 4 to May 6, 2026.<\/h4>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"3\">The course proceedings featured several lectures:<\/h4>\n<ul data-path-to-node=\"4\">\n<li>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"4,0,0\">A lecture by <b data-path-to-node=\"4,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"13\">Associate Professor Dr. Saadi Ibrahim Hussein<\/b>, titled: <b data-path-to-node=\"4,0,0\" data-index-in-node=\"68\">&#8220;The Civilized Individual as the Foundation of the Civilized State.&#8221;<\/b><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"4,1,0\">A lecture by <b data-path-to-node=\"4,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"13\">Lecturer Saja Fattah Zaidan<\/b>, titled: <b data-path-to-node=\"4,1,0\" data-index-in-node=\"50\">&#8220;Digital Transformation and Civic Participation: From Cyberspace to Political Influence.&#8221;<\/b><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"4,2,0\">A lecture by <b data-path-to-node=\"4,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"13\">Assistant Lecturer Samah Suhail Bahnan<\/b>, titled: <b data-path-to-node=\"4,2,0\" data-index-in-node=\"61\">&#8220;Mechanisms of Civic Participation in Public Policy-Making and Their Impact on Protecting Rights and Freedoms.&#8221;<\/b><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"4,3,0\">A lecture by <b data-path-to-node=\"4,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"13\">Assistant Lecturer Omniah Ibrahim Khalil<\/b>, titled: <b data-path-to-node=\"4,3,0\" data-index-in-node=\"62\">&#8220;The Role of Civic Participation in Promoting Human Rights at the International Level.&#8221;<\/b><\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 data-path-to-node=\"5\">The significance of this course lies in its response to the <b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"60\">Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)<\/b>, particularly (<b data-path-to-node=\"5\" data-index-in-node=\"112\">Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 5: Gender Equality, and Goal 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong
