In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal Four: Quality Education, Goal Eight: Decent Work and Economic Growth, Goal Sixteen: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and Goal Seventeen: Partnerships for the Goals, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning\/ Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the Industrial Advisory Council of the College of Political Science held its first meeting for the 2026\u20132027 academic year on Sunday, 18 October 2026.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The meeting discussed the College\u2019s entrepreneurship initiatives and ways to link political science and scientific research to labour market outcomes through organising scientific workshops and seminars in collaboration with the departments and directorates of Nineveh Governorate.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The meeting was attended by several members of the College Council and representatives of Nineveh Governorate institutions, including the Iraqi High Commission for Human Rights, the Iraqi Intelligence Service, and the Nineveh Governorate Office, as well as representatives of civil society organisations, including the Popular Rescue Organisation.<\/strong><\/h4>\n
