In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal Four: Quality Education, Goal Sixteen: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and Goal Seventeen: Partnerships for the Goals, and in cooperation with the Studies and Planning Department\/ Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr Akram Mahmoud Hussein, Chair of the University’s Central Scientific Promotion Committee, visited the College of Political Science on Tuesday, 20 October 2026. During the visit, he met with members of the College’s Scientific Promotions Committee.<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The visit aimed to review the committee’s workflow and the procedures for processing academic promotion applications submitted by the teaching staff. The importance of adhering to the approved academic and administrative procedures was emphasised, thereby contributing to strengthening academic integrity and rigour on the one hand, and overcoming challenges to ensure the timely and accurate completion of transactions on the other, thus further developing institutional performance within the College and the University as a whole.<\/strong><\/h4>\n
