In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal Four: Quality Education, and Goal Seventeen: Partnerships for the Goals, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning\/ Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the College of Political Science faculty members, Assistant Professor Dr Khairallah Subhan Abdullah Al-Jubouri and Assistant Lecturer Mohammed Akram Jameel, participated in the proceedings of the Warsaw Security Forum, held in the Polish capital, Warsaw, with the participation of a distinguished group of leaders, officials, diplomats, experts, and academics from around the world.<\/h4>\n

The participation came within the framework of efforts to strengthen the academic presence of Mosul and Iraq in specialized international forums and to gain insights into key perspectives and analyses concerning current security and political challenges, the future of European and international security, geopolitical developments, and prospects for international cooperation in addressing crises and promoting stability.<\/h4>\n

Participation in such events provides an opportunity to exchange expertise and ideas with figures and representatives of international and academic institutions, as well as to explore prospects for communication and cooperation in research and academic fields. This contributes to the development of political and security studies and promotes academic dialogue on issues of security, peace, and stability-building, particularly in post-conflict societies.<\/h4>\n

This participation underscores the College’s and the University’s shared commitment to supporting their faculty members’ engagement in international forums and conferences and strengthening ties with research institutions, think tanks, and policymakers. Such engagement enhances the College’s academic standing and helps it keep pace with regional and international developments in political science and international relations.<\/h4>\n
