The Center's focus then expanded to include, in addition to Turkey, the affairs of Iraq's regional neighbors. The Center has sought to provide studies, research, books, conferences, and symposiums that follow Iraqi affairs and its regional surroundings to develop Iraq's relations with its neighbors and draw up proposals to expand these relations in a way that preserves Iraq's independence and guarantees its supreme national interests.
